Man Charged With Multiple Barnegat Burglaries: Police
A concerned citizen helped police identify the man through footage the department shared on Facebook.

A man was charged with multiple February burglaries around Barnegat, including thefts from unsecured vehicles, police announced Wednesday. Through the help of a citizen who saw surveillance footage posted on the Barnegat Police Department's Facebook page, authorities were able to locate and charge Timothy Isaksen.
Isaksen, 35, of Freehold, stole several items from vehicles Feb. 3, including medication, cash and several credit and debit cards, police said. Sergeant MaryAnn Cirulli determined Isaksen was already in Monmouth County Jail on unrelated charges.
Barnegat police posted photos and videos of surveillance of two persons of interest in vehicle burglaries on Old Main Shore Road. Police recovered the footage from Wawa and asked the public for assistance in identification.
