Man Robs Wells Fargo Bank In Manahawkin: Police

Stafford police asked to public for assistance in identifying a suspect they said robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in Stafford Square. The unidentified man robbed the bank at about 10:40 a.m. Saturday at 297 Route 72 in Manahawkin, police said.

The suspect, who didn't brandish a weapon, approached the teller with a note demanding cash, police said. The STPD said the man has possible Asian resemblance and wore dark pants, a dark jacket and a camouflage ball cap.

After leaving the bank, the suspect walked west through the lot toward Captain Randolph Boulevard, police said. No vehicle was observed, according to the STPD.

Stafford police posted pictures of the suspect and videos of him entering and leaving the bank.
