Man Traveled To Stafford From Galloway To Sell Drugs: Police

He was arrested on March 24 after a two month investigation, authorities said.

STAFFORD, NJ — Stafford authorities arrested a Galloway man on drug-related charges on March 24, police said.

The Atlantic City Metro Task Force teamed with the Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit and concluded a two-month-long investigation that lead to the arrest of Eric Wiggins, 52, from Galloway.

According to authorities, Wiggins distributed methamphetamine, heroin, crack and cocaine, traveling from Atlantic County to Stafford Township. After various surveillance techniques and drug purchases from Wiggins, the Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit issued an arrest warrant for Wiggins, for 15 drug-related charges. At about 11:30 a.m. on March 24, the Stafford DEU found Wiggins driving on the Garden State Parkway North, exiting onto Route 72 East.

Stafford Township Patrol Units assisted with a motor vehicle stop on Doc Cramer Blvd, at which time Wiggins was arrested without incident. At the time of arrest, Wiggins was found to be in possession of crack/cocaine, and was transported to the Stafford Township Police Department for processing.

A court-approved search warrant was executed on Wiggins’ vehicle, which was seized as a result of the investigation. Wiggins was charged with 16 counts of second and third degree possession and distribution charges for methamphetamine, heroin and crack/cocaine. He was later transported to the Ocean County Jail.
