Chick Fil A’s Newest NJ Location Announces Opening Date
In lieu of their traditional First 100 Grand Opening celebration, the new Chick-fil-A will be surprising 100 local heroes.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — When the long-awaited new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Manahawkin opens on March 17, it will surprise local heroes and give away money to local food banks.
Instead of its typical First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A will surprise 100 local heroes who make an impact in Stafford with a year of free Chick-fil-A. The company will also donate $25,000 to Feeding America, which will distribute the funds to partners in the greater Manahawkin area.
Chick-fil-A Manahawkin is locally owned and operated by Matthew Baals. Baals grew up in Stafford Township and previously spent 15 years in the real estate industry. Last year, Baals was selected as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Manahawkin. Alongside his wife, Brenda, and their two children, Baals looks forward to making a positive impact in the Manahawkin community.
