Manahawkin Man Faces Charges After Firing Pistol: Police
Charges include two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Manahawkin man faces several charges after firing a pistol Wednesday night in front of his home, according to Stafford police. No injuries were reported.
Officers received multiple 911 calls at around 10 p.m. Wednesday of shots fired. Investigation on Rudder Avenue resulted in the arrest of Joshua Posey.
Police say they found multiple handgun shell casings on the property of the home. Detectives also found two handguns and one rifle inside the home, police said.

Posey, 36, was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, along with improper behavior, obstruction and unlawful discharge of a weapon. Officials took the Manahawkin man to the Ocean County Jail.
Ptl. Anthony Vincent was the arresting officer.
