Manahawkin MVC Becoming Appointment-Only When It Reopens
The MVC in Manahawkin won't reopen until Nov. 2, because an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — After months of long lines, the Manahawkin MVC will reopen Nov. 2 on an appointment-only basis. People can set appointments for titles and registrations at NJMVC.gov.
“I’m proud of the amazing volume of work processed by our team since reopening in July," MVC Chief Administrator Sue Fulton said in a statement. "Shifting to an appointment system limits that capacity as well as our flexibility."
Those attending MVC locations throughout New Jersey have often faced long waits since the facilities reopened in July. The Manahawkin facility is no exception. Long lines formed before 5 a.m. Monday outside the facility, which didn't open until 8 a.m. Read more: Long Line Forms Before 5 A.M. At Manahawkin MVC
