While waiting for police to arrive, a 2007 Honda Pilate traveled in the opposite direction. The driver told police the pedestrian jumped into his lane, which caused a collision. The Pilate driver then pulled over and assisted the pedestrian.
The incident remains under investigation. Patch is withholding identities of all involved because no summonses have been issued yet. Stafford police wrote on their Facebook page to be mindful when posting on social media about the situation.
