MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The community has grieved the loss of Timothy Kohlheim, the owner of the Shore Fire Grille who died last week in a car accident. But businesses, organizations and community members are helping his legacy continue.

A back-to-school fundraiser will take place in Kohlheim's honor from 4-10 p.m. Aug. 29 at The Old Causeway Steak & Oyster House (1201 E Bay Ave., Manahawkin).

For the past few summers, the 36-year-old raised funds, gathered donations and gave generously to a Back-to-School shopping drive for less fortunate students in the community.
