Manahawkin's MATES Among NJ's Best Schools

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The Marine Academy of Technology & Environmental Science is one of New Jersey's top schools at any grade level. That's according to a new list on Niche.com, which specializes in different types of rankings.

MATES earned high marks on Niche's list of New Jersey's best schools, both private and public.

The school is geared toward students concentrating in math and science. MATES tends to rank highly on Niche's lists. The school placed 14th on Niche's list of Best Public High School Teachers in America.

Additionally, Niche ranked MATES the 29th-best public high school in America, the 109th-best college-prep public high school and 141st among top high schools for STEM.

Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of rankings, including schools, has created a new list that is a bit different than the usual lists the company is known for. In this one, Niche has included both Public and Private Schools.

That may not sound different than Niche's usual rankings but this list includes both private and public schools and also includes elementary, middle and high schools all in the same list. Please note that this is not a ranking, but a search list, where you can see and compare all schools grouped together, organized by Overall Grade.
