MATES Fall Festival On Tap For Last Saturday In October In Manahawkin

The Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES) is holding a free Fall Festival and vendor event on Oct. 25.

The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MATES building at 195 Cedar Bridge Road in Manahawkin.

The event will feature local crafters and vendors. MATES students will sell refreshments. Club Terrapin and National Honor Society will give building tours to visitors and discuss the work they do with rescued terrapins. Some of the rescued terrapins may make an appearance.
