Mom Charged In Teen Stabbing In Ocean Acres: Police
Three teen boys were fighting when the mother of one, Jennifer Adams, got involved and stabbed a 17-year-old, police said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A local mother was charged after getting involved in a fight between three teenagers and stabbing one of them in Ocean Acres, Stafford police said.
Jennifer Adams, 41, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon, child endangerment and tampering with evidence after apparently stabbing a 17-year-old boy in the back, police said.
Police said they were called to Mermaid Drive at about 4 p.m. on Dec. 14 for report of an altercation that resulted in a teenager sustaining stab wounds.

It was determined that immediately before the call, a fight had occurred between three male teenagers, police said.
Adams got involved in the fight and stabbed a 17-year-old, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his back, police said. He was taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center for treatment.

Adams was charged and taken to Ocean County Jail, where she remains pending a future court apeparance.
