Motorcyclist Dies After Manahawkin Crash: Police
The 19-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a van heading in the opposite direction near East Bay Avenue, Stafford police said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a van near East Bay Avenue in Stafford Township Wednesday afternoon, Stafford police said.
Dylan Destefano, 19, of Manahawkin, was driving a Honda motorcycle on Hilliard Boulevard when he crashed into the front of a Dodge Ram van driven by a 28-year-old Manahawkin resident heading the opposite direction shortly before 3 p.m. on Oct. 12, police said.
Destefano sustained "significant" injuries during the crash and was pronounced dead at Southern Ocean Medical Center, police said.

Police detoured traffic around the crash site for about one and a half hours Wednesday.
