Nationally Known Jewish Artist Heads to LBI

Nancy Katz, a nationally known Jewish artist and arts educator is heading to the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts in Manahawkin on August 7 & 8 to help the Jewish Reform Congregation of Sha'arey Hayam design two new covers for their Torahs. The event is scheduled from 1-4 p.m.

Nancy will also help design a curtain for the congregation's new ark which is soon to be built.  Members from the congregation will help with the design of both projects over the two days.
