A NEW Championship for Extreme Gymnastics
Level 5 Team Wins JOGA South Region Team Championship
Team Title
The Gymdawgs of Extreme Gymnastics captured the 3rd annual JOGA State Preview Level 5 Team Championship South Region held in Maple Shade NJ this past January. The 1st Place title marks the 3rd consecutive year that Extreme has placed a TOP-3 team in this 2-day competition.

In addition to their Championship trophy, the young 7-girl team, ranging in ages from 8 thru 11, combined for 27 TOP-5 individual awards as well. High scorer was Manahawkin’s Kirsten Revaitis with a 33.65 giving her the All-Around award, which was 1 of her 5 TOP-2 finishes for her on the day. Kirsten also took home 1sts on Vault, Beam, & Floor. Little Egg’s Keira Reilly placed Top-4 in all of the events with her “sticking” beam for an impressive 5th straight competition this year being a most significant achievement.

Shae-Lyn Guido of Barnegat and Manahawkin’s Ryleigh Tietjen and Kaci Zoladz together took home 1st Place awards on Vault, Floor, Uneven Bars, and All-Around and combined for 14, TOP-5 medals. Kira Skiedzielewski, and Adrianna Zitzner, both from Manahawkin, contributed to the team effort with a combined 3, TOP-3 medals and 4 Personal Bests including the All-Arounds for each girl. All together, Extreme’s gymnasts had 16 total Career Highs for this competition.
Last Ones Best Ones
The regular season finale is up next in Cedar Run, at Extreme’s Dawghouse this Sunday, with the State Championships upcoming the end of this month; an event where the Gymdawgs will look to continue their post-season successes with a Top-10 Team at States in 13 of the past 14 years.
