New Ice Cream Shop Sets Grand Opening In Manahawkin
Rich's Ice Cream, with locations in Toms River and Lanoka Harbor, will be opening a third location in Manahawkin.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — On a hot summer day, there's nothing better than enjoying a delicious cone or cup of ice cream. And those with a sweet tooth in Manahawkin will soon have another location to quell their cravings.
Rich's Ice Cream announced that the grand opening of its new location at 35 South Union Street will be April 15. A ribbon cutting with Mayor Greg Myhre is set for 12 p.m. with the ice cream shop opening right after.
This longtime Ocean County mainstay has two existing locations in Toms River and Lanoka Harbor. It boasts a variety of different, homemade ice cream flavors as well as specialties such as the famous Richie bars and Richwiches.

Along with regular ice cream flavors of chocolate and vanilla, Rich's Ice Cream also serves interesting flavors like cookie monster and Nutella, plus non-dairy and vegan flavors and water ice.
Spring hours are 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Monday. The shop is closed Tuesdays.
