New Stafford Council Member Sworn In

STAFFORD, NJ — A new council member was sworn in to the Stafford Township Council on Aug. 1.

The council unanimously approved Thomas Bresnahan's appointment to the council in a special meeting.

Bresnahan was appointed to fill a vacancy left by the resignation of Councilman Dr. Anthony Guariglia, who resigned last month.

Bresnahan, a resident of Stafford since 2015, also serves on the Zoning Board.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to be more involved in this capacity," Bresnahan said at the meeting.

"I look forward to collaborating with all of you, working with the administration in the various departments," he said.

Other council members congratulated Bresnahan, sharing that they looked forward to working with him.

"I think it's unanimous that we're all excited to have Tom here up on the council," Mayor Greg Myhre said.
