NOW THE SENATE  ''CLUB" wants to change the 84 year old name of a football team that has miserable management,poor players and plays lousy football.
It would be impossible to find one true American Indian in Washington,DC who has tickets to this team OR who has been offended by the nickname 'REDSKINS" since NINETY TWO PERCENT OF D.C. IS POPULATED  BY BLACKS according to the recent census and there never ever has been a tribe of "Indians',native Americans pitching teepees ,riding Appalossas or printing Wampum anywhere near this  location.
My suggestion is the team pass a resolution to affirm the group is named after

THE WASHINGTON DC REDSKIN POTATOS" ....no harm,no foul !

To truly honor American Native Americans the Senate could pass laws that would tax the NFL using the proceeds to treat Alcoholism rampant on reservations and improve education levels there as well.  Who rigged this taxfree business deal anyway?Certainly we cannot blame Obama.Call Fox News!
