Nothing We Like More Than a Busy News Day

Stories coming your way all day (also some snow flurries)

Good morning!

I'm pretty excited about today, and not just because it's Barnegat Patch's six-week birthday.

It's just that it's a packed news day. And we like packed news days.

We've got a report out of last night's very crowded, very loud and very long Township Committee meeting. We've got an analysis of the district's school report cards, released to the public today. And we've got a story on Barnegat's food pantry, an often-overlooked downtown volunteer organization that offers groceries and clothing to those who need it.

We'll also check into some police activity that closed Georgetown Boulevard for more than an hour last night. And of course, if we have anything breaking, we're on it.

The Parkway commute looks clear so far this morning, which is probably a relief to anyone who got near t. Forecasters say morning rain showers will give way to flurries later today, but little to no snow will accumulate.

Check back often!

Graelyn.
