Nuclear Regulatory Commission To Hold Webinar On Oyster Creek Safety

There will also be a public meeting in May on nuclear plant's annual safety assessment.

If you can‘t wait for the federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission‘s annual assessment of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant‘s safety performance in late May, you can sign up for a webinar on Monday.

The NRC staff will hold the webinar at 3 p.m. on April 27. Participants can view slides prepared by the staff and ask questions in writing on a web page set up to host the session.

“This webinar will be in addition to a public meeting we plan to hold in late May near the plant to discuss the plant’s performance,” NRC Region I Administrator Dan Dorman said. “We hope it will provide another means by which the public can learn about this subject, particularly those who are unable to attend the upcoming meeting.”
