Ocean County Fair 2015 - Day Two

Visitors to the Ocean County Fair are in for another day of soggy weather. But there’s a variety of shows and activities planned that will still go on.

Here’s today’s lineup of activities:

Visitors can pay a flat $15 to go on all the rides from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

5 p.m. - Lost Arts Demonstration - 4-H

6 p.m. - Bwana Jim and his Wildlife Show - outdoor show area.

6 p.m. - Small Animal Showmanship - small animal tent.

6:30 p.m. - D.O.G Dog Show - 4-H show tent.

6:45 p.m. - Doc Swann and his magical comedy show - main stage.

6:45 p.m. - Miniature Horse Demonstration - horse ring.

7:30 p.m. - Bwana Jim and his Wildlife Show - outdoor show area.

7:30 p.m. - Horseless Horse Show - horse ring.

8:15 p.m. - Doc Swann and his magical comedy show - main stage.

9 p.m. - Bwana Jim and his Wildlife Show - outdoor show area.

9:45 p.m. - Doc Swann and his magical comedy show - main stage.

The fair features rides, entertainment, children’s games, 4-H animals and demonstrations, agricultural displays, craft demonstrations, music and food.

A new company - Monroe-based Amusements of America - is providing the rides this year, according to WOBM.

The rides will include Ring of Fire, and a Bonzai Gravitron, Scooter, Wacky Worm Roller Coast, a Merry-go-Round, Tilt-A-Whirl and several fun houses.

Admission to the fair is $7 per person. Children under 10 are admitted free. Visitors can purchase unlimited ride tickets for $15 on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fair hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 11 a.m. Please leave your pets at home. There is a no pets policy in effect.
