On The Agenda: What's Coming Up at Tonight's Committee Meeting
Police to give presentation on new K-9 unit

Tonight, the Township Committee convenes for its only February meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the courtroom at the municipal complex. Here are a few highlights from the agenda, which is viewable here on the township website.
- Following a closed session and committee reports at the start of the meeting, representatives from the Barnegat Township Police Department will give a presentation about the department's new K-9 unit.
- The committee will vote on resolutions approving bill lists from December and January that include more than $8 million in payments.
- The committee will vote on a consent agenda that includes resolutions denying the release of bonds for the Four Seasons at Mirage, Heritage Point North and Lighthouse Crossing developments. There are also multiple resolutions approving the release of bonds for Heritage Point North and South as well as for High Pointe at Barnegat.
- The consent agenda also includes a resolution approving the release of "monies held in trust for the employment of off-duty police officers."
