Over $38K In Building Materials Stolen From Manahawkin Business: Cops
Jesse Vonderlinden, 39, took building materials from Universal Supply Company multiple times in the span of a month, police said.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — More than $38,000 worth of building materials was stolen from a Manahawkin business in the span of a month, Stafford Township police said.
Jesse Vonderlinden of Toms River "unlawfully entered" Universal Supply Company on multiple occasions between Jan. 13 and Feb. 11 where he took the materials, according to police.
The 39-year-old was charged with multiple counts of burglary, criminal attempt of theft and criminal mischief, police said.

The theft was reported on Feb. 11 and a warrant was issued for Vonderlinden's arrest, police said.
Universal Supply's owner alerted police on Feb. 15 that the business's surveillance cameras caught someone in the supply yard, police said.

When police responded to the business, Vonderlinden was seen leaving the area in his car, according to police.
He was taken into custody and sits in Ocean County Jail, police said.
