Owner Lied About Little Egg Dogs' Rabies Vaccines: Police
The dogs bit at least 12 people and haven't been vaccinated for rabies, police said.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — The owner of three dogs who have bitten at least 12 people around Little Egg Harbor lied about getting them vaccinated for rabies, police said. The owner told police they were vaccinated, but further investigation determined they weren't.
Police captured the three dogs Monday after they bit and man and woman around Lake Winnipesaukee Drive that afternoon. Police released a video of a man staving off the dogs as they surround and bark at him. Read more: Video: 3 Dogs 'Terrorize' Little Egg Harbor Before Capture

Police haven't publicly identified the owner.
Authorities believe some victims of the attacks haven't reported it to police. Chief Richard Buzby strongly recommends anyone bitten to immediately tell a medical professional. If you require anything further to assist your recovery, reach out to Little Egg Harbor police.

LEHPD had responded to calls about the dogs seven times in the last four months. The owner has received several summonses for the prior incidents.
Animal control removed the dogs Dec. 10, but they were returned to their owner sometime after, police said. Police gave the dogs to animal control again Monday.
