Oyster Creek To Hold Informational Session Tonight
Annual educational event runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Want to find out more about the nuclear plant just a few miles from your town?
Come to the Community Information Night at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Session from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight.
Oyster Creek will host the annual educational event for local residents of all ages. Exelon representatives and technical experts will provide information on nuclear energy topics including plant operations, emergency preparedness, used fuel storage, safety, security, environmental stewardship and community outreach through interactive displays and activities, said plant spokesperson Suzanne D’Ambrosio.

“We enjoy listening to our neighbors, answering questions and teaching them about Oyster Creek and nuclear energy,” said Garey Stathes, Site Vice President.
The event will be held at the station’s Education Center off Route 9 on Intake View Lane, just north of the plant’s main entrance in Forked River. Light refreshments will be available.
