Pasta Dinner With Santa To Benefit Manahawkin Boy With Leukemia

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Enjoy a delicious pasta dinner with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch while supporting a local family in need.

Steven Veloso was diagnosed with leukemia at just 10-years-old this past year. While he is in maintenance as of this September, he still has a year and a half to go, his mother, Michelle Sasso, said.

To support the family, the Pirrello Family Foundation and Fusaro's Pizza have teamed up for a pasta dinner on Dec. 12 at the Manahawkin Elks Lodge. The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door. Each ticket includes pasta, salad, breadsticks, desserts and drinks.

Visitors can get pictures with the Grinch from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Bring canned goods for entry into door raffle prizes, one entry per family. All canned goods will be donated to the local food bank.
