Police Seek Cars Involved In Barnegat Hit-And-Run
A car struck a parked car on David Drive and fled the scene on the night of June 26, Barnegat police said.
BARNEGAT, NJ — Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying cars involved in a hit-and-run on David Drive on June 26.
At about 9:40 p.m. that night, a dark-colored car (possibly a Lexus IS250 or Toyota Camry and possibly metallic gray) struck a parked car in the area of 16 David Drive and fled towards Heather Way, Barnegat police said (see videos below).
Then, at about 10:15 p.m., a lighter-colored vehicle returned to the scene to check the damage to the parked car and then fled the area, police said.

The accused car sustained damage to the front bumper and passenger side, and would have white paint transfer due to impact, police said.
