Popular Vegan Restaurant Closes LBI Location
But don't worry - though Living on the Veg is closing on LBI, you can still enjoy their vegan dishes at their Manahawkin location.
LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ — A popular vegan restaurant is closing its doors permanently on LBI.
Living on the Veg, an all-vegan restaurant and juice bar, announced on social media that its LBI location will not reopen after it closes for the season.
"We want to truly thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the support we've received over the last 17 years!" the owners wrote.

Fans of the restaurant still have the opportunity to visit their Manahawkin location, located at 657 E Bay Ave. #3.
"We consider ourselves very lucky to have had such unending support through the years from our dear friends, close family, loyal customers, the LBI business community and most of all, our dedicated employees," the owners said.

"Season to season you all contributed in so many different ways in making The Veg what it is today," they said. "Your influence will continue on as we strive to make our Manhawkin location the best it can be."
