Power Outages Strike From Barnegat To Bayville
Residents in Barnegat, Waretown, Lacey and Bayville reported outages Thursday afternoon, according to Jersey Central Power & Light.
OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Power outages impacted residents of Barnegat, Waretown and Lacey Thursday afternoon.
The power companies were aware as of shortly before 3:30 p.m., according to an alert from the Ocean County Sheriff's Office.
Ocean Township police said that the outage was due to a motor vehicle crash in Lacey. It was not immediately clear if the Lacey crash impacted all four of these towns.

Jersey Central Power & Light showed outages in Waretown, Lacey and Bayville as of 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Estimated restoration time was 6 p.m. Thursday.
