Prosecutor's Office Operation 'Southern Shield' Results In 20 Arrests

Twenty residents, including a Stafford Township dispatcher,were arrested recently in Operation 'Southern Shield' on numerous drug charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said.

The Prosecutor's Office's Special Operations Group - a multi-jurisdictional investigation - focused on mid-level heroin, marijuana and prescription drug distributors operating in Ocean County, spokesman Al Della Fave said.

The investigation began in March 2016 and ended on June 16.

"The operation’s goal was to disrupt and/or dismantle the illicit controlled dangerous substance (CDS) distribution activities within the southern portion of Ocean County," Della Fave said.

Authorities seized 1,500 dosage units of heroin, 112 Oxydocone pills, quantities of crack cocaine, marijuana and Xanax, along with $3,700 and a 2006 Dodge Charger, he said.

Search warrants were executed at the following locations:

710 Clairmore Rd., Lacey Township, the residence of Casey and Joseph Sinopoli

322 Harzold Rd., Lacey Township, the residence of Paul Brennan

13 Perrywinkle Road, Barnegat Township, the residence of Peter and Donna Frate

Those arrested include:

Micahel Araneo II, 23, 826 Hazelton Avenue, Lacey Township. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax, Possession of Heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax with Intent to Distribute, and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $100,000 cash.

Alyssa Everett, 24, 826 Hazelton Avenue, Lacey Township. She was charged with Possession of Heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax, Possession of Heroin, Oxycodone and Xanax with Intent to Distribute, and

Thomas Rickmers Jr., 26, 614 Clairmore Road, Lacey Twp., He was charged with Distribution and Possession of Xanax, Possession with the intent to distribute Xanax. He was released on his own recognizance.

Michael Araneo, 57, 826 Hazelton Avenue, Lacey Township. He was charged with Distribution of Heroin, Possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession of heroin. His bail was set at $75,000 cash.

Nicholas Picone, 29, 195 Alder Sreet, Lakewood Township. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $50,000 cash.

Casey Sinopoli, 21, 710 Clairmore Road, Lacey Township. He was charged withPossession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute, Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $75,000 cash.

Joseph Sinopoli, 23, 710 Clairmore Road, Lacey Township. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin With Intent To Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. He was released on his own recognizance.

Ivory Lewis, 24, 63 Brynmawr Avenue, Trenton. She was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. Her bail was set at $40,000 cash.

Francis Jarczynski, 32, 28 Main Street, Waretown. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $25,000 cash.

Tiemear Lewis, 25, 844 Carteret Avenue, Trenton. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $40,000 cash.

Sara Cervera, 20, 39 Bayside Avenue, Barnegat. She was charged with Distribution of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and possession of marijuana. She was released on her own recognizance.

Jonathan Locilento, 44, 808 Hazelton Road, Lacey Township. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $75,000 cash.

Marguerit Tyger, 30, 28 Main Street, Waretown. She was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. Her bail was set at $50,000 cash.

Kevin Kronberger, 25, 28 Main Street, Waretown. He was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute and Distribution of Heroin. His bail was set at $30,000 cash.

Paul Brennan, 53, 322 Harzold Avenue, Lacey Township. He was charged with Distribution, Possession and Distribution with the Intent to distribute Oxycontin/Oxycodone. His bail was set at $50,000

Peter Frate, 33, 13 Perrywinkle Road, Barnegat. He was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone. His bail was set at $5,000 cash.

Donna Frate, 40, 13 Perrywinkle Road, Barnegat. She was charged with Distribution and Possession with Intent to distribute Oxycodone. Her bail was set at $10,000 cash.

Thomas Malone, 35, 1980 Millcreek Road, Stafford Township. He was charged with Distribution and Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone. His bail was st at $30,000 with a 10 percent option.

Mark Jung, 56, 15 Mizzen Way, Waretown. He was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone. His bail was set at $5,000 with a ten percent option.

Still at Large:

James Hallock, 38, unknown address. He was charged with Distribution and Possession of Heroin. His bail will be set at $75,000 cash.

All of the arrested individuals who had bails set were taken to the Ocean County Jail in lieu of the listed bail or they posted bail upon their arrest, Della Fave said.
