Reorganization Meetings Set In Barnegat, Stafford

Ring in 2024 with the Barnegat Township Committee and the Stafford Township Council as they reorganize for the new year.

BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Reorganization meetings are set for the beginning of January in both Barnegat and Stafford.

The Barnegat Township Committee's reorganization meeting is set for Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. at 900 West Bay Ave.

Committeemen Alfonso Cirulli and Joseph Marte will be sworn in for their new terms. However, according to the agenda, Committeeman Bill Farmer will resigning, leaving a vacant seat for the rest of his term, which ends Dec. 31, 2024.

At the meeting, a new mayor and deputy mayor will be selected for 2024. Meeting dates for the year will also be scheduled.

The Stafford Township Council will reorganize on Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. at 260 East Bay Ave. An agenda has not yet been posted, but they will likely set meeting dates for the rest of the year as well.
