Replicas Of The Historic Nina And The Pinta To Dock Viking Village Later This Month

The ships are working educational museums that travel around the world.

Visitors to Viking Village in Barnegat Light will soon have a chance to see what life on board ship was like back in the days of Christopher Columbus.

The Pinta and the Niña - working replicas of two of Columbus’ ships, - will be docked at 1801 Bayview Avenue in Barnegat Light starting Friday through next Tuesday, according to The Sandpaper.

Both ships are billed as sailing museums, with self-guided tours. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for students ages 5 to 16. Children 4 and younger are admitted for free.
