Santa Comes To Surf City Tonight For Tree Lighting

Surf City will celebrate its first annual tree lighting ceremony tonight, along with a visit from Santa Claus.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. at 2200 Long Beach Boulevard, when the tree is lit. Santa will arrive shortly after, courtesy of the Surf City Fire Department.

The St. Francis Teen and Children’s Choir will sing Christmas music during the tree lighting. Residents are invited to have some cider and cookies. Santa will be available for pictures after the ceremony, according to the Surf City Fire Department’s Facebook page.
