Schools Again, And Eyeing the Weekend
More analysis of school report cards data; info on local events

Good morning, Barnegat.
It's certainly the week of school stories. We've got more on the menu today, when we hope to bring you some response from the district on the state's school report card data for Barnegat schools. (None was forthcoming yesterday.)
We also learned yesterday that Brackman Middle School is turning around the worse-than-state-average stats on its student-to-computer ratio for the 2009-10 school year. We'll bring you details on that today, too.

In addition, we've got our second week's worth of Thursday get-ready-for-the-weekend coverage, which includes a roundup of upcoming events, suggestions for fun around Ocean County for those who aren't interested in the typical Valentine's Day dinner for two and a region-wide photo gallery.
It's fun stuff, so check it out.

Clear and cold today and tomorrow, with temperatures rising into the 40s over the weekend and possibly – dare we say it? – as high as 50 on Sunday.Â
[UPDATE: That's becoming clear today. Still pretty cloudy out there this morning.]
Come back and check in with us today!
Graelyn.
