See Drones In Barnegat? Here's What Police Say To Do

"There is no call that is too small for our agency to investigate as we take our community's safety and comfort seriously!" police said.

BARNEGAT, NJ — For those concerned about the mysterious drones that have taken over New Jersey skies, Barnegat police are offering some information on what you need to know.

"There’s currently no evidence of danger from these sightings, but we’re working with the FBI to keep everyone safe and provide them with the data that they are collecting," Barnegat police said.

If you see drones near schools, government buildings, places of worship, and/or other critical locations, Barnegat police ask that you report it to them immediately.

For other sightings, contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324).

"The FBI has set up a specific task force to work directly with our citizens to investigate these types of sightings," police said.

Police ask that residents stay alert.

"Report any suspicious activity to us right away, whether it be related to unmanned aircraft sightings or anything else that you may find suspicious," police said. "There is no call that is too small for our agency to investigate as we take our community's safety and comfort seriously!"
