Six In the Running for Three BOE Seats
Three incumbents and three challengers running for three open seats on the Barnegat Township Board of Education

The deadline for filing petitions to run for Barnegat Township Board of Education has passed, and this spring's election will be a contested one.
Three incumbents are running to keep their seats – one an appointed volunteer who has been filling out the term of a Board member who had to leave his post late last year – and three newcomers are challenging them.
School board elections will be held Wednesday, April 27; voters will also decide whether to approve the shool tax levy at that time.
