Solar Shed Catches Fire In Stafford: Police

Multiple agencies responded to the fire, sparked by a faulty solar panel battery, according to officials.

STAFFORD, NJ — Multiple agencies responded to a solar shed fire in Stafford over the weekend, police said.

Police responded to a home on the 1440 block of Pancoast Road at about 2:40 p.m. on April 20.

Upon arrival, they found a solar shed "fully engulfed in flames," police said. Officers made sure the area was safe, police said.

Multiple fire departments, including Warren Grove Fire Department, Barnegat Fire Department and Stafford Township Fire Department joined to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries, police said.
