BARNEGAT, NJ — Pizza. It's what keeps New Jerseyans going. And with a plethora of pizzerias statewide, everyone has their own personal favorite.

Lifestyle and tourism website Best of NJ put together an updated list of the best pizza and pizzerias in the state for 2023.

The list picks the best of North Jersey, Central Jersey, South Jersey and of course, the Jersey Shore.

And falling in the Jersey Shore category is Barnegat's own East Bay Italian Grille.

According to the restaurant's website, the head chef's Italian grandfather inspired their menu of old-school Italian classics and specials - maybe even with some family recipes mixed in.

Offering more than just pizza, you can also enjoy burgers, paninis and, of course, pasta.

East Bay Italian Grille opened in 2019, but the owners have more than 20 years of experience in the business, according to their website.
