Southern Regional Class of 2007 graduate Frank Molinaro recently made the United States Olympic team when he won the 143-pound wrestling class in Iowa City, Iowa, a district spokesman said.
Molinaro, who wrestled at Penn State, defeated Aron Pico in the best of three match on April 9.
"With the win, Frank has made the United States Olympic team," said Marilyn Dougherty.

He will now have to qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil by placing in the top three of one of the last chance qualifiers in Mongolia from April 22-24 or in Turkey from May 6 to May 8.
