Southern Regional Students Earn $620K In Scholarships

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Southern Regional students in the Class of 2019 earned $620,205 in scholarships. Students were honored Thursday during Scholarship Night.

Southern Regional's senior class had 302 honorees, who received 1,149 scholarships from 343 donor organizations.

Chief School Administrator Craig Henry opened the evening thanking the community for their support. This was followed by the presentation of the Military Academy appointments.

Richard Staradub presented the Merchant Marine Academy Award to Thomas Green. Charlene Delanoy presented the Coast Guard Academy Award to Jacqueline Ward, along with Peter J. Rossi, chairman of the Southern Regional Education Association.
