Southern Regional Students Make Care Bags For Chemo Patients

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. — Southern Regional Middle School students assembled Chemo Care Bags for patients receiving treatment. David's Dream and Believe Club filled 35 bags, and more are still coming in.

Students and faculty were asked to donate items such as blankets, socks, tissues, notepads and activity books.

David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation is a Manahawkin-based nonprofit that raises funds and provides financial assistance, wellness services and hope to New Jersey families battling a cancer diagnosis. David Christian Caldarella survived stage IV cancer.
