'Speed Friending' Event For Seniors Set For Stafford Library

Seniors interested in expanding their social circle can attend a speed friending event at the Stafford Branch of the Ocean County Library.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Seniors in Manahawkin have an opportunity to expand their social circle through an upcoming "speed friending" event. The Stafford Branch of the Ocean County Library will host "Speed Friending for Seniors" on Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m.

Speed friending is a social activity designed for participants to engage in short conversations with multiple people within a limited timeframe. The event focuses on quickly connecting individuals through interesting questions and brief chats. The primary goal of speed friending is to help attendees find potential new friends or acquaintances who share common interests.

The Ocean County Library will provide conversation starters to facilitate interactions among participants. Light refreshments will also be served during the event.
