SPORTS ROUNDUP: Barnegat Baseball, Stafford Lacrosse Advance

The Rams Lacrosse Club Team of Stafford Township recently won the "T3 Lacrosse Tournament" Varsity Boys Age Division at Southern Regional.

The club team won five games during the tournament, defeating the East Coast Lacrosse Club, from Old Bridge, 4-1 in the final.

The three-day lacrosse tournament hosted club teams of all ages throughout the Northeast region of the country.

Meanwhile, the Barnegat 12U District 18 Little League All Star team also recently had a huge win.

Barnegat beat Jackson, the number-one seed in pool A for the district.

This win has now moved Barnegat up to the number-one seed, up from the #4 seed in pool B for the district.

They are now in the final four, progressing to the next round. The four remaining teams are Barnegat, Brick, Toms River American and Manchester.

This next round is a two-game elimination.
