Stafford Fall Harvest Festival On Tap For Upcoming Weekend

The Stafford Township Recreation Department will host the township’s annual Fall Harvest Festival and Wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday at Manahawkin Lake Park.

The Harvest Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Wine Tasting portion runs from noon to 5 p.m. on both days, according to The Sandpaper.

Saturday’s event features hayrides, crafters, a Halloween parade and costume contest, scarecrow making, pumpkin picking and carving, live entertainment and jalapeño eating. The costume contest starts at noon. At dusk, enjoy a bonfire and family movie in the park. All activities are free, but admission for the hayride is a nonperishable food item to be donated to a local food pantry.
