Stafford Founder's Day Coming Up On Saturday

Stafford Township’s annual Founders Day will kick off with a parade through downtown Manahawkin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

“Hooked on ‘Hawkin” is this year’s theme. The event will begin at Manahawkin Lake Park, with vendors, food trucks, and beer. The celebration moves to the Doc Cramer Sports Complex at 4 p.m., with rides for kids, the Little Miss Stafford and Little Town Crier contests, food trucks, DJ, beer and a fireworks show at dusk, according to the township website.

A free breakfast for seniors will be held at the firehouse before the parade.
