STAFFORD, NJ — Restaurants in Stafford are participating in #TakeOutTuesday for the month of April to support Stafford's riders in the 2022 Police Unity Tour.
The Stafford Police Department will be sharing a flyer on social media each Tuesday in April that can be shown to participating restaurant. With the flyer, a portion of all proceeds will go to raising money and awareness for law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.
The money will benefit riders in the 2022 Police Unity Tour, which began in 1997 to ensure that officers who died in the line of duty will not be forgotten. This year, riders will depart from Morris County on May 9 and arrive in Washington, D.C. on May 14.
