'Stuff The Bus' With School Supplies At Manahawkin Applebee's
The annual Stuff The Bus school supplies drive, which benefits local classrooms, will return to the Manahawkin Applebee's this month.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — When you stop to get dinner, you can also donate school supplies to benefit local classrooms in need.
Doherty Enterprises, which owns and operates Applebee's restaurants across New Jersey, announced the return of their annual annual Stuff The Bus school supplies drive.
Each year, participating Doherty-owned Applebee's locations in New Jersey and New York park a school bus outside their restaurants and collect as many school supplies and cash donations from guests and community members as possible.

“Supporting the communities we serve is an important part of our business mission,” said Tim Doherty, President of Doherty Enterprises, and local owner of the participating Applebee’s restaurants. “Every year our Stuff the Bus Drives help local schools equip their students with the tools they’ll need to be tomorrow’s leaders. We invite everyone to load a bag full of school supplies, leave it with our team members, and then enjoy a terrific family lunch or dinner at Applebee’s.”
The bus will be at the Manahawkin location from Aug. 30 through Sept. 1. You can also donate items from Aug. 18 through 25.

All funds and donated items are loaded into the parked school bus and sent directly to area schools or partner organizations that support those classrooms.
