Swimming Beach At Manahawkin Lake Reopens For Summer

If you're looking for a free, non-ocean beach, take a dip at A. Paul King County Park starting Friday:

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — It's almost the end of the school year, and summer is just around the corner. And with that, the swimming beach at A. Paul King County Park reopens on June 16.

This free beach at Manahawkin Lake (2 West Bay Ave.) is open for swimming when lifeguards are present.

And swimming is not the only activity. The 48-acre park has a playground, picnic area and more.

The park is also the site of many Stafford Township Recreation events, including summer concerts, National Night Out and many more.

Just across the street is Heritage Park, where the Farmers Market will return on June 20.
