Thousands Without Power In Barnegat Monday: JCP&L

Much of Barnegat and Waretown are dealing with power outages Monday morning, according to JCP&L.

BARNEGAT, NJ — Thousands of homes are without power in Barnegat and Waretown Monday, according to Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L).

Crews were being dispatched to the areas effected as of 10:45 a.m., according to the JCP&L outage map. See the latest map here.

As of 11 a.m., the cause of the widespread outage was pending investigation.

Scattered portions of Lacey and Berkeley are also without power Monday, according to JCP&L.

The estimated time of restoration for Barnegat and Waretown is 1 p.m., according to JCP&L.
