BARNEGAT, NJ — When the Barnegat Township Committee held its reorganization meeting for 2025, Monsignor Ken Tuzeneu jokingly asked God during the invocation "if there's not too much trouble, please let 2025 be the year we open our new town hall." It seem his prayers may have been answered, as township workers will be moving over to the new building in the coming week.

"We thank you for your patience and cooperation as employees move from our current office space to their new offices," officials said. "We are working hard to make the transition as smooth as possible so that residents can still do business as usual and your understanding of unexpected delays is much appreciated."

A rabies clinic scheduled for Jan. 18 will be held in the current town hall from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
