HARVEY CEDARS, NJ — A "tragic boating accident" is under investigation Sunday evening at the Jersey Shore, police said.
Harvey Cedars police shared the news via a Facebook post, though no details were immediately available. Police in the Long Beach Island town and New Jersey State Police are jointly investigating the accident.
"As the investigation is in its preliminary stages, we ask that you keep the family and community in your thoughts and prayers," police said.
